Underfoot Feel
The max-cushioned On Men's Cloudmonster 2 midsole consists of an updated dual-density Helion superfoam. A softer and more absorbent top layer of foam should improve underfoot comfort, while continuing to deliver lots of energy return.
Like the previous model, large CloudTec Elements collapse and then rebound to help optimise protection and propulsion. Heel strikers should enjoy the high level of cushioning on offer in the rearfoot section of the midsole.
An updated nylon-blend Speedboard, sandwiched between the two foams, is designed to improve energy return. As a result, you should expect to feel a propulsive underfoot experience.
Upper Fit
The On Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes also feature an updated upper. There's now a reworked engineered mesh and lining material to improve comfort. Small adjustments to the eyestay design should also offer better midfoot lockdown.
In our experience from testing the Cloudmonster 2, they feel very spacious in the toe box and should suit runners with broader foot shapes. At the same time, the supportive midfoot and secure ankle collar should also accommodate narrower feet.
Ideal Run Type
The On Men's Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes are one of the most versatile max-cushioned models available. This is because the cushioning feels comfortable over a range of paces. With that being said, if you're looking for running shoes that perform for slow, steady, and some faster running, they should be great a option. In our opinion, they feel best on steady runs and longer distances.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
